Week 37: A P-day with no food (the 28th week on the field)

Hey, Howdy, Hey,

Oh, Hi there! It's me, Elder Wilson with this week's update.  Yeah, so I had P-day last week with no food or drinks.  We fasted.  We tried showing God that we were willing to sacrifice our only day out of the week to relax to fast for those we were working with.  I sure saw a miracle this week.  One of the friends we've taught wayyy far back finally reached out to us.  They'd been silent and all the sudden this friend sent a message to us saying "I'll probably come to church this Sunday".  She didn't come on Sunday due to sleeping in and forgetting, BUT it sure was a miracle that she reached out to us after being silent for weeks.
We also helped at a wedding reception.  Okinawa wedding receptions are super long.  We were helping with serving food and drinks.  This wedding reception had a ton of high ranking people in Okinawa.  There was a comedian and a whole bunch of famous dancers.  The day was long but fun.  We also had delicious fruit cake.  At the end of the day, we were exhausted, but it was great to see all the smiling faces at the wedding reception.  Worth it!

I'll put more down next week but this is all for now...

Love,

Elder Wilson
