Week 2: Well Adjusted

Image
The MTC is better than people make it out to be. My companion, Elder Lee is very cool.   He grew up in Provo so his house is 2 minutes away.  We work 16-18 hours everyday with lesson planning, physical exercising, Japanese study, devotionals, breakfast, meals, choir, lesson teaching, meetings, and etc. The first week was kind of tough.  We just went straight to work.  The 3rd day here was the first time we had to teach an investigator in Japanese.  Let's just say, it didn't  go so well.  We prepared super hard trying to condense the godhead. We drove to the MTC parking garage — Josh says it's fairly new. I got taken by a host missionary — don't remember his name —let's call him Elder B. Well, Elder B is going to El Salvador for his mission.  We had a chat about how awesome my brother James is.  I met my companion when I got to my room. Anyway, my companion forgot his tablet in the room and had to go and get it.  ... I'm going to my first Japanese class. The teachers seem nice.  Accents are very American, but oh well! I'll get through it. Love you and mis...
