Week 27: 6 MONTHS--That's right 6 Months!!!!! (Week 17 in the field)

Bum Bum Bum Bum Bara Bum Bum Bum (The NFT draft jingle)...
In the 2019 missionary draft, Elder Wilson is called to... stay in Urasoe!!!!!!!!  Yay!!!!!!  That's right, I'll be in Urasoe for another transfer.  Elder Uhlig is moving up to Okinawa City to be the Zone Leader over there instead while my new companion, Elder Larsen, will be coming in from Kyushu.  It's been a good ride with Elder Uhlig.  I'll miss him for sure, but we'll be at the next zone conference so we'll see each other for sure.  We sure did have some great times together these past 3 transfers.  Some なつかしい(Natsukashii/ cherished moment) pictures down below!

So, this week... Elder Uhlig was much better so we actually were able to do things this week. We visited a person in the hospital so much that he took us out to dinner yesterday out of gratitude. He took us out to Taco rice.  This is amazing food.  Just imagine: A taco on rice.  SOOOO good! This one restaurant he took us to is the best place in Okinawa; also the place that invented the "Taco rice.)  It's called King Tacos.
I also had the most Service Learning-like service project this week.  We went to this assisted care facility for disabled people on Thursday.  Elder Uhlig and I went with the Musical therapy nurse and had fun while also serving.  The paradox with service is that when you serve, you're given more time.  That is totally true.  We were able to accomplish so much more due to having service in our life.  You may think, how so?  I'm super busy.  It's because of our Father in Heaven. He grants us more energy and time when we do good towards others.  Remember the wise words of President Spencer W. Kimbal's wife: "Never suppress a generous thought".
That was just about my week.  Oh wait... last thing... on P-day, we went to a member's house and played great board games!  We had such a great time.  After the mission, these are games I HAVE to share with my family.  楽しみ! (It will be fun!)
